Tax Resolution

Allen Cvelic
Allen has been in the profession of finance & accounting his entire professional 20+ year career. Having worked in a corporate setting for the majority of that time, as well as the tax & accounting practice for the past 15 years, he's had the exposure to understand the perspectives of both the employee and the entreprenuer. He holds a BS in business from Montclair State University and an MBA in finance and accounting from Rutgers University. In his interactions with clients, he often finds himself leaning on his finance and accounting pedigree to assist them in some their most important financial and tax planning decisions. Allen has interacted with thousands of individuals and business owners-preparing their returns, and providing tax consulting throughout the entire year. Nobody knows it all, but there isn't much he hasn't seen. Taxes can be complicated. Through his personable demeanor, Allen develops an open rapport with clients, so doing your taxes isn't the burden that most people think it to be.
John T. Cvelic, CPA
(In Memoriam)
Our pioneer. Our inspiration. Long before we started our firm, John started preparing tax returns for family, friends, and colleagues in the basement office of the home where he and his younger brother and partner, Allen, grew up. Moonlighting for several years, John also spent the majority of his 20+ years in accounting in a corporate setting working for some of the most prestigious financial firms on and off Wall Street. Deloitte & Touche, Citigroup, Blackrock to name a few. John earned a B.S. in accounting from Montclair State University and his CPA license in NJ and NY states. He laid the proverbial foundation of our firm. Sadly, he was taken from us much too soon due to illness in 2020. He leaves us with a long legacy of a high standard of client service, a dedication to excellence, a constant drive to learn and improve, a loving devotion to those who were nearest to him, and a selflessness to share his experience and knowledge. Our firm stands strong today because of him. He will forever be the cornerstone and the embodiment of the driving prinicples upon which we pride ourselves here at Cvelic Financial Services... Excellence, Intergrity, & Humility. John, you keep us striving to do better for our families and our clients always. We miss you everyday.
